Chinese Program Organizer Sun Yao

PTYIFF is pleased to partner with Chinese Program Organizers Felix Zhu and Sun Yao. Both have extensive experience curating, directing, distributing films and working on hundreds of screenings and Q&A's at multiple film festival programs, including the Beijing International Film Festival, Pingyao International Film Festival, HiShorts! Film Festival, and Hainan Island International Film Festival.

Felix and Yao have also worked as documentary producers in collaboration with contemporary Chinese cinema and emerging filmmakers, while being based in China.

They will be curating a special Chinese programming block for PTYIFF this year. More details to come in the ensuing weeks...
