THAILAND'S PREMIER FILM FESTIVAL
In its inaugural edition, the official 2026 Pattaya International Film Festival is aiming to grow from the legacy of the previous, regional Pattaya Film Festival to become one of Southeast Asia's landmark annual events. FULL ENTRY RULES HERE
Dozens of films in multiple genres will be shown for in person screenings. Many events will be paired with culinary and cultural events celebrating the region and heritage of the world.
ALL FILMS MUST ENTER VIA THE FILM FREEWAY WEBSITE PORTAL
All "Official Selection" films will be shown for at least one in-person screening at one of the following venues: one of three SFX cinema locations in Pattaya, the world famous Tiffany's Show (500 seat capacity) for the Opening Night Gala, or the Starlight Cinema rooftop screenings at the Moment Beach House. Additional venues may be announced.
The Opening Gala will feature attendance by many top luminaries and representatives of the Thai film community. A full orchestra will perform onstage, while legendary Thai actress Patravadi 'Lek' Mejudhon, star of The White Lotus, will receive a Lifetime Achievement Award. Other special guests and special awards to be announced as confirmed.
Immediately after each block of genre films, attending filmmakers will be invited on stage to take part in short Q&A sessions with attendees at their respective screening venue.
EVENT LOCATIONS
Many sites including our opening gala at the iconic Tiffany's Show, multiple SFX Cinemas and the Starlight Cinema at The Moment will host films, filmmaker forums and/or related events.
